Claus Preisinger Puszta Libre! is Austria’s answer to Beaujolais – a vibrant, juicy and irresistibly drinkable red designed to be enjoyed lightly chilled. A blend of Zweigelt, Pinot Noir and St. Laurent from the plains of Burgenland, it undergoes five days of carbonic maceration, enhancing its bright fruit character and effortless freshness.

The nose bursts with aromas of ripe cherry, blackberry and wild berries, complemented by a gentle earthy undertone. On the palate, it is lively and energetic, with crunchy red and dark fruit flavours, refreshing acidity and a subtle touch of black pepper adding savoury interest.

Light-bodied yet wonderfully textured, the wine combines purity, vibrancy and drinkability in equal measure. Served slightly chilled, it delivers a joyful, refreshing expression of Austrian natural winemaking.

Behind the wine is Claus Preisinger, one of Austria’s most influential natural wine producers. Based in the village of Gols near Lake Neusiedl, Preisinger farms biodynamically across 58 vineyard parcels, working with indigenous varieties and minimal intervention in the cellar. Guided by a philosophy of purity, balance and terroir expression, his wines are celebrated for their energy, authenticity and contemporary style.
