Chateau Magnan la Gaffeliere Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

Château Magnan la Gaffelière can trace its origins back to the 1770s. The owner at the time was a cooper at Château La Gaffelière, where he drew inspiration both for the name of his own vineyard and for the spirit of his wines.

The bouquet blossoms with plush ripe black cherry, plum and cassis, hints of violet, liquorice, mocha and espresso. The palate is fruit-forward with plum, blackberry and subtle notes of cassis, showing well-balanced freshness and tension with fine tannin structure. Enjoy with eye fillet, slow-cooked roasts, tomato-based pasta and hard cheeses.

70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.
