Chateau La Nerthe Les Cassagnes Cotes du Rhone Blanc

Sourced from vineyards with a mix of sand, clay and calcareous stones, the soils provide excellent natural filtration and contribute to the balance and texture of the wine. The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness, carefully sorted and gently pressed in a pneumatic press for around three hours. After 24 hours of settling, fermentation begins at low temperature to preserve freshness and aromatics. The wine is then matured for around seven months on fine lees in stainless steel, with regular stirring to build texture and complexity.

Pale and bright in the glass, this Côtes du Rhône Blanc offers inviting aromas of fresh pear, white peach and honeysuckle. The palate is lively and fresh, showing notes of lemon and vine peach with a subtle mineral edge. Despite the influence of Viognier, the wine remains balanced and elegant, finishing long and refined.

Blend: 32% Viognier, 28% Grenache Blanc, 24% Roussanne, 16% Marsanne.
