Bodegas Williams & Humbert 'As You Like It' VORS Amontillado is a wonderfully rare and historic Sherry, revived from a forgotten solera of just 27 butts that had remained untouched for decades. Originally bottled in the 1970s, the wine disappeared as interest in premium Sherry declined, before the solera was rediscovered in 2012 and brought back in tiny quantities.

The name, As You Like It, comes from an old family tradition of softening mature, dry Amontillado with a touch of sweetness. Alexander Williams, one of the winery's founders, would add a little sugar to old Amontillados for his wife Amy, eventually turning the family preference into a commercial wine based on their private Family Reserve solera.

Rich, complex and beautifully mature, it combines the nutty, oxidative character of aged Amontillado with a subtle touch of sweetness, creating remarkable balance and depth. A fascinating piece of Sherry history and a seriously special bottle for lovers of mature fortified wines.
