Sometimes great wines are born from serendipity—like the Dhillon Glenhope Accidental Red. What began in 2022 as a blend of surplus Merlot and Shiraz pressings is now a purposeful, playful expression from Michael Dhillon of Bindi Wines.

This vintage sees Merlot berries, Shiraz juice, and a splash of Malbec (5%), wild-fermented and aged six months in barrel. The result? A bright, chillable red bursting with red cherry, gentle spice, and earthy undertones.

Light, juicy, and Pinot-esque in feel, it offers silky tannins and a savoury, lingering finish. Serve slightly chilled and enjoy this Macedon Ranges gem—delicious, affordable, and brimming with character.
