Billecart Salmon Brut Rose

Founded in Mareuil-sur-Ay in 1818 by Nicolas Francois Billecart and his wife Elizabeth Salmon, this is one of the rare homes still owned by the same family. After seven generations, Francois Roland-Billecart, a highly skilled individual, is in charge of the house. The Brut rose is evidence of their three main goals, which are subtlety, balance, and elegance. The nose is light salmon pink, with elevated red fruits and a crisp pear. The blend has structure from the Pinot and superb grace and delicacy from the Chardonnay. a combination of 40% Pinot Noir, 20% Pinot Meunier, and 40% Chardonnay. Eight percent of the Pinot component is still wine from the Mareuil family vineyards.
