Lucien Le Moine Bourgogne Blanc 2023 is a limited-production Chardonnay from the highly regarded micro-négociant Lucien Le Moine, founded by Mounir Saouma and Rotem Brakin. Produced in small quantities with a meticulous, hands-on approach, the wine reflects a house style built on richness, texture and precision, with a strong emphasis on expressing both fruit and élevage.

Sourced from carefully selected Burgundy vineyards, the 2023 vintage demanded close attention in the vineyard following a challenging spring, resulting in a wine shaped by thoughtful selection and careful handling. True to the domaine’s philosophy, the wine is aged on lees in oak barrels without racking and with minimal sulphur use, allowing it to develop depth, complexity and a distinctive, slightly reductive edge.

The style is layered and textural, combining ripe orchard fruit and white florals with flinty, smoky mineral notes. Creamy and concentrated, the palate carries both weight and tension, driven by lees-derived richness and a finely structured backbone that supports long-term ageing.
