Prancing Horse Estate Chardonnay
Prancing Horse Estate are the organic and biodynamic winemaking pioneers of the Mornington Peninsula.
The two blocks were first planted in Red Hill South in 1985 and are located on a moderate slope, one running north-east and the other facing west. They provide the ideal environment to produce small parcels of fruit that truly express their individual terroir. The property is surrounded by bush and pasture and oversees Western Port Bay and Bass Strait.
The Estate Chardonnay This wine is fresh, bright and tangy, grapefruit and white peach given texture by balanced acidity and well handled oak. To say it comes from the same stable as The Pony is factual, but nonetheless still surprising.
