Primary maturation in a combination of French and American oak ex-wine casks. This process is followed by an extended finishing in barrels that have held MORRIS multi-award-winning Muscat fortified wine, providing an elevated Australian single malt whisky expression. The colour is a deep, rich copper with reddish hues, with forward aromas of dates, figs, and the sweetness of dark molasses. The palate is well-balanced and complex with delicious characters of dried fig, sweet malt, vanilla, cocoa, and spice with a creamy mouthfeel. Delivering a satisfying finish that lingers on the palate.
