About This Wine:

Although Tinta de Toro is widely regarded as a DNA variety of Tempranillo, it produces substantially larger wines than Tempranillo in the Duero valley typically does because it has smaller berries and thicker skins. The 'young' wine in the Bodegas Matsu lineup is a strong and deep wine with aromas of dark fruit, blackberries, licorice, complexity, and spice, despite not having aged in barrels.
