Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses
Perched on the hill of Chablis Grands Crus and facing south to southwest, the Les Preuses vineyard dominates the landscape like a natural promontory. Its name comes from the word pierre (stone), evoking the stony path that once crossed these slopes. Here, brown clay soils meet Kimmeridgian limestone marl, shaping wines of energy and character.
Appearance: Pale gold with subtle green reflections.
Nose: Dense and elegant, with floral and fruity notes lifted by precise minerality.
Palate: Delicate and alluring, with a fine touch of oak and a long, vibrant, mouth-watering finish. A wine where elegance meets power.
Food Pairing:
Perfect with sea bass carpaccio and truffle, free-range guinea fowl with cabbage, langoustines in beurre blanc, or fine cheeses such as Comté, Beaufort, and fresh goat’s cheese.
