About This Wine:

Lifted aromas of dark cherry, violet, and rose petal lead into a beautifully expressive and floral vintage. Small bunches and berries have delivered intense fruit concentration with fine, velvety tannins. The palate bursts with cherry, strawberry, and blackberry, layered with subtle savoury notes and exotic fruits on the finish. Finely grained tannins and a well-defined structure carry the fruit sweetness with depth and precision.

In the vineyard, a mix of MV6, 777, D5V12, and Pommard clones paints a detailed picture of the site. Thoughtful vineyard management throughout the season ensures flavour ripeness aligns with optimal sugar levels—key to crafting wines of true finesse and character.

Hand-picked fruit is destemmed without crushing and placed into small open fermenters. After a short cold soak, fermentation begins naturally before the addition of cultured yeast. A portion of whole bunches is often included for added complexity. Ferment temperatures reach up to 32°C, with gentle plunging or pump-overs twice daily. After fermentation, the wine is pressed and matured in French oak (20% new) for 10 months, undergoing malolactic fermentation before bottling in January.

A poised and captivating Pinot Noir that speaks clearly of its site, vintage, and craft.
