Ruby crimson with orange undertones. With a fragrance of strong notes of redcurrants and violets, the nose is delicate and powerful. Rich red fruit flavours including redcurrant and red cherries along with spicy undertones and vanilla from oak ageing. It is dry, delicate, and harmonious. Fine-grained tannins, a strong sense of structure, and a lengthy mouth-filling finish.

90% Sangiovese (locally called Prugnolo Gentile),10% Canaiolo Nero and Mammolo.

The Crociani Estate owns vineyards situated at Le Caggiole, one of the most attractive areas in the heart of the Vino Nobile production area. The vineyards, covering about 10 hectares, are on medium-textured soils well-suited to the growth of the vine and producing superb vintages year on year.
