Barbanera Vecciano Toscana Red

Barbanera - Vecciano is a well-crafted combination of Sangiovese and Merlot grapes. Generally, three things spring to mind when tasting Vecciano:
Loads of rich fruit, very soft tannins, and a lingering fruity aftertaste in a deep garnet red with violet undertones. The wine has a delicious scent of luscious red berries intertwined with toasty spices and vanilla. It has a robust body and a strong flavor of cherries, luscious ripe blackberries, coffee, and chocolate. The tannins are well-rounded and refined. Sweetness and acidity are perfectly balanced. In the mouth, the finish is lengthy and silky. Overall, the impression is of a really solid experience.
