Allinda chardonnay is characterized by early picking to emphasize the mineral influence of the soil in which the grapes are grown. A range of winemaking techniques are used to guide fermentation and maturation in small French oak barrels to produce a complex wine, with depth, structure and richness. It shows grape fruit and pineapple fruit complexed by a yeasty, nutty nose with a touch of flinty burnt match. Racy palate with citrus fruit on the front, creamy middle palate good length. The wine should be served only slightly chilled.
