If you are stuck in Victoria like us, or unable to leave your state due to boarder closures do not fear. You can always 'google' tour the region from the comfort of your home and whilst you dive down the internet rabbit hole dreaming of visiting each cellar door why not be sipping on a nice glass of wine?
Adelaide Hills is another of Australians cool climate wine regions with over 90 wine labels and 50 cellar doors! There is a lot to look up on your 'google tour'.
The Adelaide Hills is one of the largest geographical wine regions in Australia, and amongst the most diverse in terms of climate, soil and topography. The region consists of two registered sub-regions, Lenswood and Piccadilly Valley.
Did you know, The Adelaide Hills is not just a convenient name – it is a registered Geographic Indication (GI) under international law. This means that when you buy a wine with our regional name on its label it must be grown in the Adelaide Hills.
The cool Adelaide wines are textured and refreshing, they generally pair superbly with the sweet/sour/hot flavours of modern Australian and fusion Asian cuisine.
We recommend pouring a glass of one of these to start your virtual journey.
