Wignalls Premium Chardonnay

An understated minerality can be detected in this wine's rich bouquet, which also includes notes of fresh lemon and citrous, as well as vanilla from the finest French oak. A creamy and multi-layered texture on the palate has been obtained through weekly traditional "batonnage" (lees stirring), which is counterbalanced by the reviving natural acid on the finish. There was little malolactic fermentation.
