Louis Jadot Mercurey Rouge

In the Côte Chalonnaise subregion of Burgundy, the communes of Mercurey and Saint-Martin-sous-Montaigu make Mercurey wine. Despite clear similarities to the Côte de Beaune, the red has an own charm. Typically, it has a robust backbone with lots of grip on the tongue along with a deep, earthy fruitiness. The spicy cherry aromas in Mercurey wines are well-known.

Louis Jadot Mercurey is a medium-bodied, fruity but rich wine with a deep colour and a very delicate texture that is meant to be consumed young.
