JM Labruyere Prologue Grand Cru Extra Brut

The house's debut cuvée, Prologue, establishes the Champagne J.M. Labruyère ethos: terroir-driven, low dosage to emphasise the grapes' natural maturity, and prolonged maturation on lees.
The majority of the grapes used in this blend were harvested in 2018, a warm and fruitful year that finished with a crop of wonderfully ripe and healthy grapes. Nearly a third of the blend is made up of reserve wines, which contributes a vinous flavour, lovely depth, and extra-brut dosage.
The end product is a rich, pleasant, and well-balanced champagne that makes the ideal aperitif to dessert pairing.

Base: 2018 harvest combined with 27% reserve wine from 2016 through 2014. OAK BARRES are used to mature 20% of the wine.

69 % Pinot noir, 31 % Chardonnay.
