Fondillon Luis XIV Red Vermouth

Colección de Toneles Centenarios is a recently established winery with a long history that produces Fondillon Luis XIV Vermut. It was established after 25 60-year-old casks were discovered at the long-abandoned Ferrero family winery in Caada (Alto Vinalopó), Alicante. The family maintains 25 hectares of remaining vineyards, where they started making Fondillón wines again in 2017.

This wine is created by blending 30% of 8-year-old Monastrell "rancio" wine with 70% fresh vermouth. In American oak barrels that were over 100 years old, the finished wine was matured. (Residual sugar: 45g/l)
