Fighting Gully Road Aglianico

In tiny stainless-steel vats, the grapes were hand-picked, destemmed, crushed, and then fermented. Temperatures during fermentation were regulated in order to preserve the distinct aromatics of each variety and prevent too much tannin from being extracted.Next, the wine was matured in seasoned 600L thick staved demi-muids for a duration of 24 months.
The 2017 Aglianco has a medium to full body, excellent acidity, and robust but finely grained tannins. Fennel, aniseed Dutch liquorice, and aromatic red fruits are the traditional varietal scents.
