Domaine Amelie & Charles Sparr Riesling Sentiment

Domaine Sparr is the product of two extremely experienced Alsatian wine families. The Sparr family has been in Alsace since 1634, and Charles is the 12th generation. Since Amélie and Charles' nuptials, these two young vignerons have worked hard to create a 100% biodynamic Alsace wine portfolio. They continued to develop and buy vineyards from both sides of the family until 2013, when they achieved their ambition and opened their own winery. They began by selling all of their grapes to negociants until finally deciding to bottle under their own label in 2017. Full of luscious citrus fruits (including pomelo and bergamot) and pineapples. This is a substantial and wonderfully proportioned Alsace dry riesling that strikes the perfect combination of depth and freshness. Biodynamically cultivated grapes with Demeter certification.
