Beronia Tempranillo Rioja

Harvested in October at optimal ripeness, the Tempranillo grapes for this wine were treated with great care from vine to bottle. A brief period of cold maceration followed harvest, designed to gently coax out vibrant colour and aromatics while avoiding excessive tannin extraction. Fermentation took place at cool temperatures, kept below 26°C, with gentle pump-overs to enhance purity and finesse.

The young wine was then matured for six months in custom oak barrels - a thoughtful blend of American oak staves and French oak heads - lending complexity without overpowering the fruit. Bottled in July, it rested in bottle for a further two months before its release, ensuring integration and balance.
