Different powerful flavours are accompanied by expressive scents of yellow fruits, including pear, citrus, and citrous with white flowers.

The persistence is quite long and tart. Richness, texture, and toasted flavours in White Burgundy complement light fish and shellfish and can balance sauces made with cream. Warmer climate oak-aged Chardonnay pairs well with grilled seafood, carbohydrates, butter, and toasted almonds.
