Plum, cherry liqueur aromas with a whiff of salumi. Blackberry jam & fresh brambles on the palate. Cedar and spice on the finish. Using a yeast strain from the Rhone Valley (the ancestral home of Syrah/Shiraz) for fermentation. Fine, silky tannins and some savoury notes. Matured in 20% new and seasoned french hogshead barrels for 18 months.
