Domaine Des Hauts Chassis Crozes Hermitage F.Faugier

The terroir is of the type of alpine diluvium (river-glacial alluvials), it is composed of large pebbles that accumulate heat throughout the day to restore it during the night. Franck Faugier took over the family estate and has been winemaking since 2003. If the winery is modern (stainless steel vats), it is the respect of tradition that animates the spirit of the Domain. From the vine to the cellar it is the respect of the fruit and the vine that we favour: soil work, reasoned wrestling, green harvest, manual stripping, manual harvesting, skimmings, drawings during winemaking and a controlled breeding in order to offer you all the pleasure of the fruit and the complexity of Syrah.
This current release has a bright, very strong color with dark purple reflections. Aromas are elegant, candied and spicy. The palate delivers violet, mocha and havane, cocoa and nutmeg, black cherry and blackberry
