Region: Bellarine Peninsula
Located on the Bellarine Peninsula, Swan Bay was named by Commander Matthew Flinders in 1803. The wines of Swan Bay are fruit driven in style, offering unbeatable consistency and quality, generous in flavour and designed to be enjoyed young.
This release is deep garnet colour. Rich perfumed nose of plum and strawberry fruit with violet notes, spice and a touch of earthiness in the background. Juicy yet savoury palate of fresh strawberry, plum and raspberry fruits; spice and earthy notes supported by a charry oak finish. The palate is medium bodied with excellent mid-palate weight, silky tannins, and balanced by firm acidity. A very good match to a wide spectrum of foods.
