It is a stand-alone business of the Kaesler family, and the first time it has extended beyond the Barossa Valley.
From 20-40-year-old vines, the wine matured for over 19 months in new French oak. Deep purple-crimson, it is plush and velvety to the point of outright thickness, with unctuous black fruits, oak and dark chocolate bolstered by ripe tannins.
