Region: Barossa Valley
Seven Sleepers, or Siebenschlaffer, is named after an old Barossa German farmers’ lore, being that the weather that occurs on 27 June is likely to be prevalent for the next 7 weeks.
The colour displays Bright purple-red with crimson highlights.
Aromas are of a lively, fruit-driven wine with pure Barossa aromas of blueberry, bloodplum, and red liquorice.
The Palate is full of Juicy berry and plum flavours that fill the palate, with a touch of oak that supports but doesn’t dominate, allowing the sweet, mouthwatering fruit to show its full potential. Fine, ripe tannins give length to the palate, which finishes soft, yet gently structured, with delicious, lingering flavour.
