The individual parcels are then matured for 15 months in seasoned French oak, using both large-format puncheons and hogsheads, with 10% new oak, before the final blend is assembled.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDeep garnet with vibrant crimson hues, the wine opens with crushed granite and graphite alongside mulberry, spiced plum and cinnamon. The palate is concentrated yet medium-bodied, layered with strawberry coulis, native currant and boysenberry, complemented by rosehip, cinnamon bark and subtle tea-leaf notes.
