Sue and David Haeusler planted the first vineyard on the eastern section, of Shiraz, Malbec, Cabernet, Merlot and Verdelho in the mid-1990s. The flood plains of the Angas river were a perfect fertile environment for quality producing vines.
Their first release Cabernet is from a single-vineyard of 26-year-old vines. Up front blackberries and aromatic herbs like thyme, fruit building on soft American oak with persisting tannins. Vegan-friendly.
