25% of the blend spent 4 months (including ferment) in a combination of new and 1-year old French barriques.
Bright, lifted aromatics of blackcurrant leaf, guava and nettle with notes of walnut, snow-pea and cut grass. Textured and complex, with fruit and herb notes intertwining with hints of spice, flint and funk. A creamy nuttiness fills the mid-palate while a lemongrass acid line adds drive and length.
91.5% Sauvignon Blanc; 8.5% Semillon.
