A proud expression of Shiraz combined with dark berry fruits, integrated with complex oak and mixed spices. This wine embodies the affinity between Heathcote's ancient Cambrian soil and the Shiraz grape.
It smells of sweet berry, plum pudding and earth. Silky smooth on the palate with luscious concentrated black fruits, spice, baked earth and soft savoury tannins. Not at all jammy, it is just pure fruit expression. Oak has a supporting role to the fruit and it is played to perfection.
This is the kind of shiraz that will win you praise at the next BBQ or dinner party.
