Very dark brown hue with a short lived espresso coloured head. Aromas are of banana, coffee, creamy jersey caramel and mocha. Not as heavy on the palate as one would expect of an Imperial Stout. Very creamy on the palate initially with sweet roasted malt followed charry/nutty notes, coffee, alcohol warmth and mild but persistent hop bitterness. Good length too.
